Coaldrops Yard

Was visiting London last week and I knew I had to visit Heatherwick’s new design venture. The coaldrops yard is beautifully detailed with a very aesthetic palette of materials, yet as anyone, I fell for the trap that is the centrepiece of the project. The joining roofs really holds your attention (and I apologise as most photos showcase it in some part) but quite honestly, the impressive detailing is what kept me there.
